685 ANWB employees opt for a Lifeguard intake

Lifeguard conducted intakes for ANWB Roadside Assistance at 14 different locations. The intake consisted of a health check (qualifying as a Preventive Medical Examination, or PMO), an online questionnaire, and a one-on-one coaching session. ANWB chose Lifeguard due to their need for a more personalized approach, with a focus on lasting behavioral change. Employees not only received a physical assessment but also engaged in meaningful conversations with a coach about their health and energy levels. A total of 685 employees participated voluntarily.

While Lifeguard’s health check qualifies as a PMO, it is much more than that. It serves as a stimulant for behavioral change—towards a higher level of energy.

Frank Romeijn, Roadside assistance employee:
“I’ve been participating for years. Better safe than sorry, right? This time, it felt much more personal. You could choose which measurements you wanted to do, and there was a coach involved. The coach really took the time for you. It wasn’t just about the numbers—it was also about how you’re feeling and what challenges you’re facing.”

“ANWB is putting more focus on health overall: from healthy lunches to training sessions you can even attend with your partner. I think it’s a great initiative and I recommend it to everyone!”
