My personal ambition is to help people realize their full potential, both at work and in their private lives. I help you break through limiting thoughts and beliefs, find calm in your mind, and deal better with the feelings you experience. I do not believe that people should or can always be happy; life is sometimes unfair and painful. I want to help people increase their resilience and psychological flexibility. I am the partner of Iris and the father of Tjibbe. I like to be outdoors as much as possible, am an avid sports enthusiast (such as cycling, running, stand-up paddling, and surfing), love music very much (both listening and playing the guitar), and I try to be a good friend. I have a background in HRM and Business Administration, have gained extensive experience in absenteeism and reintegration guidance, and subsequently completed a multi-year training program to become a Coach and Counselor.

Working style

My starting point is the present: what are you currently struggling with in terms of thoughts, feelings, and behavior? Where do your needs lie, and what do you want to achieve? We look back at what you have learned in your life so far, but we do not dwell on the past for too long. I like to work in a results-oriented way by practicing different behavior. I support you in this with empathy, a critical perspective, and involvement. I believe that everyone can change. When dealing with limiting beliefs and patterns, I combine exercises from solution-focused coaching, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. In addition, I regularly use the methods of Transactional Analysis and Voice Dialogue.
