The ING Executive Career Coaching Program for employees on an Orange contract supports leaders in strengthening their career direction, personal effectiveness, leadership capabilities, and sustainable employability. The program is fully aligned with the ING Orange Code and is designed for leaders who want to consciously shape their next career step.

The coaching process is personalized, practical, and in-depth. We work both rationally – using theory, models, and assessments – and experientially, through reflection, awareness, and real-time interventions. Participants do not only gain insight, but also learn to experience and apply new perspectives directly in their daily leadership practice.

Through this approach, leaders are supported in navigating complex career choices while remaining effective, resilient, and future-ready within the ING context.

Each program is tailored to your goals and consists of:

An intake
Optional assessment (when useful and appropriate)
Homework and reflection
Up to six coaching sessions

Each session lasts approximately 2 hours.

How to apply

To start Executive Career Coaching, follow these steps. This process ensures correct registration and budgeting for Executive Career Coaching.

Select your coach from the list above and email executivecoaching@lifeguard.nl stating that you want to apply. Include your division details.
You will receive a proposal for up to six coaching sessions. Discuss this with your Lead to obtain a PO number.
After alignment with your Lead, create a Purchase Order (PO) in iBuy, using your own cost center. Attach the Lifeguard proposal.
Once you receive the PO number, send it to Lifeguard at executivecoaching@lifeguard.nl, including the invoicing details.
Lifeguard will then schedule your first session/intake. Sessions are invoiced individually based on actual usage.

Note: you may participate in this program once in your ING career.

Practical information & terms

Each coaching session lasts two hours.
Maximum of six sessions ING Executive Career Coaching per applicant: 6 * €1800 = €10.800, plus 21% VAT.
Cancellation fees:
– 50% within 1 week
– 100% within 24 hours
(Cancellations are deducted from the maximum number of sessions)
Administrative costs: €250 per trajectory

The program connects content, reflection, experience, and application to the ING context and leadership challenges. Coaching is delivered by four experienced executive coaches with extensive backgrounds in leadership development, banking and finance, high-performance teams, personal transformation, and working in multicultural international environments.
