The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee at Schiphol successfully filled 250 vacancies thanks to Lifeguard’s tailored program

Since 2018, Lifeguard has supported 700 employees of the Border Security Brigade at Schiphol with the Boost program.

Boost consists of customized interventions such as the Lifeguard Energy Scan, nutritional advice, health checks, and team-focused sessions. The impact has been tangible: lower attrition, increased job satisfaction, and a significantly improved employer image. These results made it possible to actually fill previously unfilled positions.

Pascal Wolf, Commander of the Border Security Brigade at Schiphol:

“When I started in 2017, we were facing understaffing, a poor reputation, and low morale. Thanks to the Boost program, our people have regained the drive to take ownership. My biggest personal insight has been that even the most critical colleagues were able to turn their negative energy around and became driving forces for change.”

“Our reputation has clearly improved, and filling vacancies has become much easier. Boost represents the power of the workplace and individual ownership—something we are committed to embedding for the long term.”
